All ingredients in Bomdia are non-GMO. Some of the phytonutrient ingredients in Bomdia are organic, but some of our ingredients are not classified as organic by nature, such as minerals. Others do not fall under organic or inorganic classification due to the growing or extraction process, including probiotics. In some cases, we have elected to use an ingredient from a non-organic supplier because we found it was higher quality, more consistent, and still passed the rigorous NSF Certified for Sport® and third-party testing standards, including being non-GMO.
With over a decade in the industry and a focus on continuous improvement and testing, our experience shows us that organic isn’t always the best when it comes to some of our key ingredients. For these reasons, we cannot label the entire formula as organic. That said, every ingredient and every batch we make gets tested for ingredient quality, toxicity, and microbes.
What are the probiotics in Bomdia?
Bomdia is more than a probiotic. In fact, we were one of the first to pioneer the synbiotic approach. The synergism and improved effect observed when combining pre- and probiotics is called a synbiotic – in other words, a formula that optimizes how prebiotics and probiotics work in unison for gut health. Bomdia contains two of the most thoroughly researched probiotics, Lactobacillus acidophilus, and Bifidobacterium bifidum. Just how probiotics exist in nature with prebiotics (think fermented foods, fibrous vegetables, pickled foods), AG1 offers the same impact by combining prebiotic fiber like inulin, apple, beets, artichoke, and kelp to supply the probiotics with food to multiply and flourish in the gut. Combining synbiotics with a bountiful diversity of phytonutrients like green tea, cocoa, and grapeseed drives the variety needed for a healthy gut microbiome.*
